Tryout Information

• Tryouts are free.

• All tryouts will be held at Riverside Baseball Gym, 6865 Ontario Street.

• The competitive season runs from October through April.

• Players who cannot attend the first tryout may still attend a later tryout.

• Advance online registration is required for each tryout attended.

Important: Please Register for Tryout #1 Only

At this time, athletes should register only for Tryout #1 for their age group.

Registration for Tryout #2 and Tryout #3 is intended for:

• Athletes who are invited back following the previous tryout.

• Athletes who were unable to attend the previous tryout and would still like to be evaluated.

• Athletes who could not register because an earlier tryout reached capacity.

Selection and Communication Process

1. After each tryout, every participating athlete will receive an email indicating whether they are being invited to the next tryout.

2. Roster decisions will be made throughout the evaluation process. Cuts may be made after each tryout, so athletes are not guaranteed to participate in every session.

3. Following the final tryout for each age group, team offers will be emailed to the athletes who have been selected.

4. Please carefully enter and double-check your email address when registering. All invitations, updates and team offers will be communicated by email.

Age-Group Registration

The birth years listed below represent the primary age category for each division. Extended-age eligibility may apply in some circumstances.

Travel athletes who competed in a different age group—up or down—last season may try out for that age group as well as their primary age group. All other athletes should register for the age group corresponding to their primary birth year unless otherwise approved by the club.
